If you are feeling a lot of fear right now, you are not alone. I have had several calls in the past week where people told me they are feeling very anxious and in need of some sort of protection. Because the anxiety is not coming from any one thing, the people who called me didn’t know what sort of protection they wanted or needed.
This was taken on the Oregon coast last year…so peaceful…
Right now there is so much going on in our world and a lot of it we can’t make sense of. It seems like nothing is like it used to be and this is reason for anxiety in itself. When we can’t count on things to be the way they always have been, it is difficult to feel safe and secure. That, however, is the cause of our anxiety. We are looking at the world outside ourselves to make sense and it doesn’t. Maybe it never did and we just thought it did.
True feelings of safety come from inside ourselves, not from the conditions, events, or people around us. When we feel secure within ourselves outer events might cause a blip in how we feel but they are not able to impact us to any great degree. How do we learn to be safe inside?
Being safe inside comes from dealing with our issues, letting go of what no longer serves us, being clear about why we are here and where we are headed. Daily meditation and connecting ourselves with the angels and guides will support us in making the changes needed to feel more safe in a world gone increasingly mad.
