We had our sixth psychic and healing arts fair in Monroe this past Saturday – and a most interesting experience it was! Originally, we had seven readers scheduled which would be a good number. I had marketed the fair, placed advertising, walked flyers around the local area…the flyer had the names of the readers and what they were going to do.
Earlier in the week one of the readers canceled for health reasons. I tried to replace her, but couldn’t find anyone. I decided it was okay. Two days before the fair two more readers canceled due to health reasons. YIKES! I couldn’t find replacements. We were down to four readers. This would be all right if we didn’t have a lot of people showing up at the same time. I took a few deep breaths and released on it.
Saturday morning Rhonda and I got to the Best Western in Monroe where we hold our fairs. We got set up. The readers are supposed to be there and ready to go by 9:45. One (bless her heart) showed up by about 9:15. A second showed up by about 9:35. By 9:55 the other two had not shown up. People WERE showing up for readings. Yes, momentary feelings of panic ran through my stomach. I relaxed and released on it, knowing it would all be fine however it went.
One more reader showed up by 10:05 — more people were showing up for readings. I had done a good job of marketing and of telling people to get there early. I never leave home without my cell phone. HA! Not only did I not have my cell phone, I also did not have the phone number of the missing reader! I figured she must be lost and would call the hotel. She was and she did! She arrived by about 10:45.
The rest of the day was fabulous. We had people for readings almost constantly and several of them had never had readings before. Some came in because they saw our ads and flyers; others saw our outdoor signs at the Burger King and at the tire store across the highway – plus we had a few guests from the hotel stop in.
Several people bought my books and Cds and I was able to connect with some former and new students. This fair was one of the best we ever had! Many of the people who had readings were clearly very touched by the information they received (oh, and did I mention we only have experienced and spiritually-based readers at our fairs? We attract people who tend to want this sort of reading.).
Do I have a moral to this story? You know I do. State your intentions clearly. Do your part in the world to support your intentions. Then get out of the way and allow it to happen. If it looks like you have challenges, don’t get scared and don’t panic. Just keep moving in the direction of your intention and let the Universe handle the details!
Everything really is okay, all the time, no exceptions.
Love,
Krysta
